2 killed in bomb attack on voter registration centre

<p>PUL-I-KHUMRI (Pajhwok): Two people were killed and two others wounded in a bomb attack on a voter registration centre in northern Baghlan province on Wednesday morning.</p>

<p>A security official told Pajhwok Afghan News on condition of anonymity that the blast took place in the Khwja Alwan area of Pul-i-Khumri at around 10:30am.</p>

<p>He said Nalem Karim, in charge of the voter registration centre, and Baghlan-Samangan highway commander Rahmuddin were killed in the bombing, which was followed by gunfire.</p>

<p>Baghlan Civil Hospital official Dr. Shah Mohammad Hofyani confirmed receiving two dead bodies and two injured people from the blast site.</p>

<p>He said the injured included an ANA soldier and a policeman. Their condition is said to be stable. There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the blast.</p>
