NILLI CITY (Pajhwok): Six Talibaninfo-icon have been killed and four others wounded during a clash in central Daikundi province, police official said on Monday.

Deputy Police Chief Col. Muhammad Anwar Mohammadi told Pajhwok Afghan News the Taliban stormed police headquarters from three sides late on Sunday night.

The clash erupted 10:30pm continued until 3:00pm in the night leaving four rebels dead and six others injured.

The Taliban suffered defeat that the hands of security forces and cooperation of the local security forces.

Local officials during telephonic conversation said that the Taliban’s heavy attacks beaten back by local security forces and Police in Daikunid.

The Taliban have not commented about the incident
