<p><a href="/en/afganistan/kabul" class="glossify-link">KABUL</a> (Pajhwok): Unidentified gunmen on Monday morning shot dead two personnel of the Afghan Air Force (AAF) in Kabul, an official said.</p>
<p>Police spokesman Hashmatullah Stanikzai told Pajhwok Afghan News the incident took place in Khwaja Boghra area of the 15<sup>th</sup> police district at around 6am.</p>
<p>Two unknown motorcyclists gunned down the Ministry of Defence officials he said without going into details.</p>
<p>A source in MoD confirmed a pilot and an engineer were killed by the gunmen. He said the assailants managed to flee the area. A search has been launched by police.</p>
<p>There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the shooting.</p>
