President appoints Yousaf Nuristani as senator

KABUL under a presidential decree issued on Tuesday.

A copy of the president order is available with Pajhwok Afghan News that says Ahmad Yousuf Nuristani was appointed in line with article 84 of the Constitution, replacing Najiba Hussani.

Nuristan resigned as Independent Election Commission (IEC) chief in 2016 due weak management.
