KABUL (MoE) said on Thursday.
A statement from the MoE in connection with the International Day of the Girl Child said Afghanistan was celebrating the day at a time when 3.5 million girls went to schools nationwide.
The education ministry said it believed educated girls could better serve their country with their abilities.
Calling education a human right, the MoE statement said every family was responsible to give their girls the right to education.
The MoE said it had increased its efforts at improving the education sector compared to the past and urged the countrymen to support and help the ministry in implementing its policies.
