Abdullah stresses India continued support to Afghanistan

DUSHANBE (Pajhwok): Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Indian Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj have agreed to further increase cooperation between the two countries.

The meeting was held on the sideline of the 17th Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan.

The two sides discussed the bilateral relationship, upcoming parliamentary election, regional issues and Afghanistaninfo-icon’s fight against terrorism.

The Indian foreign minister said that New Delhi would increase its assistance with Afghanistan and reiterated her country’s support to Afghanistan in the war against terrorism.

The CEO thanked that Indian government for its cooperation and demanded continued cooperation between the two countries.
