Security forces detain key HIA member in Kabul

KABUL (HIA) in capital Kabul, the HIA media wing said on Friday.

Fazal Ghani Haqmal, the member of the HIA media office, confirmed to Pajhwok the arrest of Haji Dawajan who is also the representative of Kochies within HIA.

But a family member of Dawajan, who wished to go unnamed, said Dawajan was arrested by security forces four days back from Kabul’s Bagrami locality.

The source did not say why the HIA member had been arrested.

A close source to the HIA said Dawajan is a key member of the party and was involved in peace process besides other crucial engagements for the party.

He represented HIA in multiple peace conferences in Turkey, Qatar, and other countries.
