Forged documents, stamps of Afghan govt seized

PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): Forged documents and stamps of Afghan and Indian governments have been seized during a police raid in Pakistaninfo-icon’s northwestern city of Peshawar.

Literature of Tehreek-i-Talibaninfo-icon Pakistan (TTP) was also recovered during the raid on a printing press in the old city neighbourhood of Qissakhwani Bazaar.

Police station raided the printing press in Dahki Nalbandi area and recovered TTP pamphlets, Indian visa stamps, KP police cards and Afghan customs papers.

Police officer Muhammad Noor Khan said they had been tipped off about secret activities going on at the Yousafzai Printing Press. Plainclothes policemen surveyed the area before the raid.

The printing press owner, Qari Saifullah, a resident of the Kakshal area of Peshawar, was arrested. Afghan customs receipts and letter heads were also seized.
