Hundreds graduate from private medical institute in Pakita

GARDEZ (Pajhwok): Hundreds of students, including 63 girls, on Friday graduated from a private medical institute in the capital of southeastern Paktia province. The graduates said they were ready to serve in every part of the country.

In total 791 students graduated from the  private institute “Rana Medical Institute” in Gardez from nursing, midwifery, pharmacy, libotroy and dental sections, said head of the institute, Dr. Samiullah Ahmadzai.

He told Pajhwok Afghan News the graduates studied in five branches of the medical science and they were offered latest and standard practical work.

He said they had a contract with the zonal hospital on providing practical work opportunity to the graduates of his institute.

A teacher at the institute, Dr. Asadullah Adil, said boys were taught by male and girls by female teachers and expressed his confidence that the graduates would serve people in various parts of the country.

Provincial Council member Mohammad Rahman Qaderi said it was very important to train girls in medial field because it would help fill the existing gap.
