ICC all-rounder rankings: Rashid retains top slot

KABULinfo-icon (Pajhwok): Two Afghan players are among the top five all-rounders in the latest International Cricket Council (ICC) rankings.  

Rashid Khan retains he number one slot with 353 points, followed by Shakib Al Hasan of Bangladesh with 352 points.

Mohammad Nabi is in third spot with 337 points, Pakistaninfo-icon’s Mohammad Hafeez fourth and M Santner of New Zealand fifth.

Among the top 10 bowlers, Rashid Khan (788) is second behind India’s Jasprit Bumrah (841). Spinner Mujeebur Rahman (679) is number eight.

In ODI team rankings, England is on the top with 126 points, followed by India (121). New Zealand is in the third slot with 113; 4 points. Afghanistaninfo-icon is number 10.

There is not a single Afghan among the top 10 batsmen. Virat Kohli (India) is top of the list, followed by his compatriot Rohit Sharma.

Ross Taylor (NZ) is in third place, Joe Root (Eng) in fourth, Babar Azam (Pak) in fifth, David Warner (Aus) sixth, Faf du Plessis (SA) seventh, Shai Hope (WI) 8th, S Dhawan (Ind) 9th and Q de Kock (SA) 10th.
