Former CM wants Afghan refugees repatriated

PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): Now is the time for Afghan refugees living in Pakistaninfo-icon to return home, says a former chief executive of southwestern Balochistan province.

Dr Abdul Malik Baloch, who also heads the National Party, said the refugees should be repatriated as the security environmentinfo-icon was gradually improving in Afghanistaninfo-icon.

The ex-chief minister claimed Balochistan was being affected politically, economically and administratively due to the massive presence of refugees.

“We have been showing hospitality to Afghan refugees for the last three decades,” he said, adding the law and order situation in Afghanistan had a direct impact on Balochistan.
