KHOST (Pajhwok): Two back to back explosions injured seven people in the capital of southeastern Khost province on Sunday, police said.

The landmine blasts occurred east of Khost City near high-rise buildings at around 1pm, said Khost police spokesman Adil Haider.

He said the fist blast took place inside a barber shop and the second outside the shop caused by explosives planted on a bicycle.

He said six civilians were injured in the blasts.

However, provincial healthinfo-icon director Dr. Gul Ahamd Shah said seven injured people had been delivered to some private clinics in the city and two of them were said to be in critical condition.

There was no word of responsibility for the twin blasts.
