The Talibaninfo-icon have closed the main road leading to the district while police on indirect roads have established check-points and did not allow people to travel, Muhiuddin said, adding he had been trapped at a time when he had run out of money.

“There is a shortage of food items in the district and the people may face famine if food items are not delivered.”
