KABULinfo-icon (Pajhwok): Afghanistaninfo-icon are set to take on defending champions Australia in the fourth match of the ICC Cricket Worldinfo-icon Cup in Bristol on Saturday (today).

Although the Kangaroos have a much better track record, the Afghans remain in high spirit, despite a nine-wicket loss to England in their final warm-up, and could stun any side on their day.

For Afghanistan to start their campaign on an encouraging note, top-order batsmen will have to deal professionally with a strong opposition bowling attack.

By the same token, Rashid Khan, Mohammad Nabi and Mujeebur Rahman will have to spin a web around the Aussies, who have proven their mettle in the pre-World Cup matches.

The return of Steve Smith and David Warner gives the five-time champions additional strength. Aaron Finch and Usman Khwaja to boost the Australian so top order.
