25 security forces killed, injured in Daikundi attack

NELLI (Pajhwok): Eight security personnel have been killed and 17 others injured in militants attack in the Kajran district of central Daikundi province, an official said on Friday.

Deputy Police Chief Mohammad Anwar Mohammadi told Pajhwok Afghan News militants stormed security forces check posts in Padgak and Sang Haidar Biag areas.

He said the Taliban attacked check posts from different sided on Thursday night. They were equipped with armored vehicles and modern weapons, he added.
