KABULinfo-icon (Pajhwok): Afghanistaninfo-icon’s disabled cricket team has defeated England in the third match of the five-nation Twenty20 Worldinfo-icon Series.

After winning the toss, England decided to bat first and posted 159 runs for the loss of seven wickets.

Afghan bowlers Mohammad Shoaib grabbed three wickets and Sherin Agha two, according to a statement from the Afghanistan Cricket Board.

Afghanistan chased down the target in the 16th over as player of the match Mohammadullah, Ashraf and Jamil Shah starred with the bat, scoring 56, 39 and 32 runs respectively.

Unbeaten in the tournament so far, Afghanistan outplayed the hosts by seven wickets -- their third consecutive win in Physical Disability World Cricket T20 Series.

Afghanistan, where cricket has been a craze, will take on India on Thursday in their next encounter.
