KSRelief gives 896 Afghan orphans 20m afs aid

KABULinfo-icon (Pajhwok): King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) on Wednesday distributed food and non-food items worth 20 million afghanis to Afghan orphans.

A statement from KSRelief media office received by Pajhwok Afghan News said the aid was distributed in cooperation with the Ministry of Public Works.

It said the aid included food items, cloths, bags for 896 orphan students and for construction of three orphanages.

The aid distribution was launched in Kabul on Wednesday where Deputy Public Works Minister Ghulam HaidarJilni, Saudi Arabia ambassador to Afghanistaninfo-icon Jassim bin Mohammed Al-Khalidi and KSRelief’s chief was present.

Acting Public Works Minister Sayed Anwar Sadat thanked the kingdom for its assistance and termed Saudi Arabia Afghanistan’s good friend.

The Saudi envoy reaffirmed his country’s further assistance with needy Afghan families in future.
