JALALABAD (Pajhwok):  The governor on eastern Nangarhar province on Friday directed police to step up efforts for arresting the killer of a renowned Japanese doctor.

Tetsu Nakamura, known for his aid work in Afghanistaninfo-icon and elsewhere in South Asia, came under attack in the city from unidentified gunmen in Jalalabad.
