KABULinfo-icon (Pajhwok): Talibaninfo-icon and US negotiators have held detailed talks, which would continue on today (Tuesday), says a spokesman for the movement’s political office.

Suhail Shaheen tweeted, “Future steps were discussed with US negotiators yesterday evening (Monday). The talks between the two sides will be underway today as well.”

From the Taliban side, Mullahinfo-icon Abdul Ghani Baradar, Sher Mohammad Abbas Stanikzai and Amir Khan Mutaqi attended the talks. The US was represented by Zalmay Khalilzad and Gen. Scott Miller.
