KABUL (Pajhwok): Five children have been killed and three others injured in a roadside blast in the Dasht-i-Archi district of northern Kunduz province, an official said on Friday.
Nasrat Rahimi, spokesperson for the Ministry of Interior (MoI), told Pajhwok Afghan News the blast happened on Thursday evening in the Shahrwan village in front of Maulvi Ahmad’s seminary.
He said the dead and injured children were the students of Ahmad’s madrasa.
No group claimed responsibility for the blast.
