KABULinfo-icon (Pajhwok): Acting Hajjinfo-icon and Religious Affairs Minister Abdul Hakim Munib on Tuesday asked imams of mosques to shorten prayers and called on people to offer Sunnah and Nawafel at home.

Addressing reporters here, the acting minister said recommendations of the Healthinfo-icon Ministry were obligatory in the wake of the Coronavirus outbreak in the country.

He called on imams to shorten prayers and Friday’s sermons and preach all advisories in local languages to help prevent the outbreak of Coronavirus.

He also asked local traders to ensure stable prices in market and not confront people with economic crisis in addition to the Coronavirus threat.

He complained against Iran, saying the neighboring country should treat Afghan nationals as their own citizens in the aftermath of Coronavirus.
