KABUL attacked in central Logar province, an official said on Sunday.
The casualties occurred last night when the insurgents stormed a checkpoint of the uprising force in Pul-i-Alam, the governor’s spokesman Deedar Lawang said.
In central Kapisa province, public uprising members killed four Taliban rebels and wounded seven others during a clash.
In a statement, the 201st Selab Military Corps said militants attacked the posts of the uprising members in the Nawa Jangal area of Tagab district.
In retaliatory fire, the pro-government forces inflicted the casualties on the Taliban, according to the statement, which did not give further details.
