KABULinfo-icon (Pajhwok): Outgoing NATOinfo-icon’s senior civilian representative (SCR) in Kabul Sir Nicholas Kay on Tuesday said Afghanistaninfo-icon has changed and the Afghans did not want the Talibaninfo-icon regime back

Kay wrote in twitter account, “My final message is to Taliban. Its 25 years since we last met. #Afghanistan has changed.”

He added: “Wherever I go, Afghans say they want peace but not a regime that denies human, civil & political rights. Time to stop violence, fight #COVID19& work for a better new #AFG.”

The retiring NATO SCR paid tribute to what he said immense contribution of Afghan womeninfo-icon and support for their full involvement in future peace talks with the Taliban.

“I highly appreciated the progress being made by the brave Afghan women in all fields such as in security sector, government, in civil societyinfo-icon, media and in Science and technology”, he added.
