NSA Mohib blames Taliban for recent deadly attacks

KABULinfo-icon (Pajhwok): National Security Advisor (NSA) Hamdullah Mohib has condemned recent deadliest attacks and blamed the Talibaninfo-icon for these attacks by facilitating other militant groups to operate, a statement said on Tuesday.

Tens of people, including security personnel, were killed and injured in militant attacks on Tuesday in Kabul, Nangarhar, Laghman and Khost provinces.

In a statement Mohib strongly condemned these attacks and termed them un-Islamic and inhuman.

“Militant attacks by the enemy of religion and humanity during the holy month of Ramadaninfo-icon showed that they honored no principles and carried out un-Islamic and Inhuman acts,” he said.

Mohib said that government intension for peace and stability in the country was clear but the Taliban still continued their attacks and the killing of the people of Afghanistaninfo-icon in a grave violation to human rights.

He also tweeted, “The attacks of the last two months show us and the worldinfo-icon that Taliban & their sponsors do not and did not intend to pursue peace. Their attacks this spring against Afghans are comparable to the level of fighting in past fighting seasons.”

He said the Taliban facilitated other militant groups such as Daesh, Haqqani Networkinfo-icon, Lashkar-i-Tayyibah and others.

He stressed that the US, Taliban agreement stressed over reduction in violence.
