KABULinfo-icon (Pajhwok): A memorandum of understanding (MoU) has been signed between Afghanistaninfo-icon's Nimroz and Iran’s Sistan-Baluchestan provinces.

As part of the MoU, trade problems at Milak border would be removed, the Iranian Republic News Agency (IRNA) reported on Saturday.

Deputy Governor of Nimroz Abdul Nabi Barahoie acknowledged Milak border was of immense importance, given frequent interactions between two neighbouring provinces.

His Sistan Baluchestan counterpart Mandana Zanganeh hailed as positive and cooperative interactions between Iran and Afghanistan.

She hoped the document signed by the two provinces would play a major role in developing border trade between the neighbours

After the signing the MoU, IRNA reported, more than 10 transit trucks resumed commute after 23 days of stoppage on Milak border.
