4 killed as bomb hits tractor-trolley in Kunduz

KUNDUZ CITY (Pajhwok): Four civilians were killed and as many injured when a roadside bombing tore through a tractor-trolley in northern Kunduz province on Saturday, officials said.

Kunduz police chief spokesman Hijratullah Akbari said two people were killed and four others wounded in the blast that took place in Ramzani area of Aliabad district.

Akbari accused the Talibaninfo-icon of planting the hidden bomb.

A spokesman for the Kunduz governor, Ismatullah Moradi, confirmed the incident and four civilians had been killed and a fifth wounded.

He said the incident took place in Sufi Syed Shah area of Aliabad district and the condition of the injured was critical.

Aliabad district Chief Amanuddin Qureshi told Pajhwok Afghan News that four civilians were killed and a fifth injured in the blast.

There was no word from the Taliban about the blast.
