The heart of Asia is passing through very deep wounds of time. The duration of violence has no end. Humanity is crying with all of its complaints and protest as in the polyphonic fiction art of the Fyodor Dostoevsky. Now the land of Rumi spawns blood and hatred rather than quest for love and wine. Nobody is ready for surrender. The land of music and the nation of poets are just witnessing from more than three decades persistently tragic wars and violence.  Poetry and music are the two great mysteries and creation of human consciousness. Rumi has poured so much poetic art having deep beauty for humanity.

Acts of violence is not begets because of an individual will, organization or a specific faith. But violence is more systematic and concrete. One should understand that meta-structure rather than attribute with some specific faith or race. Pluralism and diversity is the share emblem of all human civilization. Some liberal still blame the house of Islam for the current religious fundamentalism.

According to Tariq Ali, “the last century alone produced Nazim Hikmat, Faiz Ahmed Faiz, Abdelrehman Munif, Muhmud Darwish, Fazil Iskander, Najuib Mahfouz, Nizar Qabani, Pramoeda AnantaToer, and Djibril Diop Mambety amongst many others”. These were all poets, novelists and film-makers.

The champion of western liberal democracy and their powerful tame media never talks their own past mistakes and contradiction about democracy and human rights. The senior Middle Eastern expert Robert Fisk very accurately explained the contradiction of USA approach in Middle East.

He said that “While Qatar and Saudi Arabia arm and fund the rebels of Syria to overthrow Bashar al-Assad’s Alawite/Shia-Baathist dictatorship; Washington mutters not a word of criticism against them. President Barack Obama and his Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, say they want a democracy in Syria. But Qatar is an autocracy and Saudi Arabia is among the most pernicious of caliphate-kingly-dictatorships in the Arab world’s dark ages”.

For more than three decades of war still Afghans are waiting for peace but unfortunately the international dynamics of contradictory strategic interest never allow space for peace, thus whole region is now turning into a powder keg. The darkest aspect of the current scenario is that, the most marginalized and deprived section of the society is burning in the fire. Recently the Amnesty International also published a report about the increasing number of internally displaced person due to deteriorating security situation.

The Amnesty quoted that “The number of Afghans internally displaced by conflict has “dramatically” doubled to 1.2 million in just three years, Amnesty International said on Tuesday, warning that a lack of basic services was putting people on the brink of survival”. Proper food, water, shelter, education and healthcare are the basic problems facing by every Afghan. The same report further unfold very disappointing context of the situation. “Even an animal would not live in this hut, but we have to,” Amnesty quoted a 50-year old woman living in a camp in the western Afghan city of Herat as saying.

This is not the only aspect of the Afghan tragedy which provides full understanding of the rotten state of affairs. There are other horrific aspects and many currents of the bleak situation. On 6 May 2016, Danielle Moylan’s article “Spring on the Afghan Front Lines” published in The New York times also explore clearly the true contents of Afghan Tragedy in Helmand province. The Moylan story tells us the difficulty and hardships facing by front lines Afghan soldier. In one part of the story we became very sadden when a soldier says that ““I haven’t seen my family in six years”. The front liners fighting soldier are very poor Afghans. They are rendering precious lives just to receive fourteen thousand monthly Afghani.

In recent horrible acts of deliberate killings in Kunduz we also get into the content of tragic continuous mass murder process. Los Angeles Times very closely reported the essence of the story and show the horrific form of violence with full view. The paper reported “A night of terror at the hands of the Taliban” that “Noorullah, a resident of the Yawan district of Badakhshan province who uses only one name, received a call Tuesday telling him his cousin, Shams-ur Rahman, had been killed. Rahman, 25, was heading back to Badakhshan from Kabul after asking his commanding officer in the Afghan National Army if he could have time off to spend time with his new bride. They had been married for 15 days”.

The most important destabilizer factors for chaos in Afghanistan are international power and regional stakeholders. The share of Afghan masses in the chaos is very least. International power must accept their past mistakes in Afghan affairs and not to repeat it. Today the Heart of Asia has alienated and reified too far as the hero of Hamlet in the tragedy of Shakespeare. When Marcellus says that, something is rotten in the state of Denmark and Horatio response, Heaven will direct it. Does the rotten state of affairs in Heart of Asia will too direct by heaven.
