PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): Kabulinfo-icon has urged Islamabad to relax travel restrictions for Afghan citizens, especially womeninfo-icon, children and patients entering Pakistaninfo-icon, a media report said on Thursday.

At a meeting in the border town of Torkham on Wednesday, officials from both sides agreed no Afghan would be allowed to travel to Pakistan without valid travel documents after April 30.

The monthly flag meeting was attended by civil and military officials of Pakistan and Afghanistaninfo-icon to review border security arrangements, according to The News International.

It quoted Landikotal Assistant Political Agent Rahimullah Khan Mehsud as saying Afghan National Army officials Colonel Nisar and Major Syed Amin as well as civilian officials came to Pakistan to attend the talks.

The meeting, which lasted two and a half hours, discussed several issues of bilateral interest, including security arrangements and cross-border movement of people.
