LASHKARGAH (PAN): Three people were killed and five others injured when a truck hit a motorcycle and then crashed into a tractor in southern Helmand province, officials said on Sunday.
The accident took place at 10am in front of police headquarters in Grishk district, traffic officer, Capt. Abdul Bari, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
The truck heading toward Kandahar City struck a motorcycle and then collided with a tractor, he said, adding three people were killed and five others injured, who were taken to Grishk hospital.
The traffic officer linked the mishap to violation of traffic rules by the truck driver.
The fresh accident came two days after eight family members were killed when their car crashed into a truck in Dwa Lari area of the district.
