SHARAN (PAN): The International Cooperation Organization (ICO) distributed seeds, including onion and grass, to nearly 1,500 gardeners in southeastern Paktika province, an official said on Saturday.
The aid was estimated at 5 million afghanis, with each gardener receiving seeds worth 3,000 afghanis ($60.9756), an ICO official, Naimatullah Shabri, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
He said the assistance was distributed to gardeners free of cost, adding the aim was to enhance vegetable production in the province.
