QALAT (PAN): Two people were killed and six others injured in a road accident on the Kandahar highway in Shahr-i-Safa district of southern Zabul province, officials said on Friday.
A van collided with a Mazda pick-up, resulting in the causalities, in the Jaldak area of the district on Thursday evening, Deputy Governor Muhammad Jan Rasulyar told Pajhwok Afghan News.
But a doctor said on condition of anonymity that 11 men were brought to Zabul Civil Hospital. One of them later succumbed to his injured and four were in serious condition, he added.
