Minister for Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan said a prosperous Afghanistan was vital to the development and stability of the South Asian region.

At a meeting with Afghan Deputy Minister of Culture Ghulam Nabi Farahi, the two agreed on media cooperation between the neighbours. Media could help boost ties between the two countries, they believed.
