GHAZNI CITY (PANinfo-icon): Six people, including two womeninfo-icon and a child, were killed and three others sustained injuries when a passenger van crashed into a truck on the Kabulinfo-icon-Kandahar Highway in central Maidan Wardak province on Sunday, an official said.

The head-on collision took place in the Salaro area, said Ghazni Civil Hospital Director Dr, Baz Mohammad Himat, who confirmed receiving five dead bodies from the scene. The dead included two women and a child, he said, adding another three people wounded in the crash are now in a stable condition.

A similar incident claimed the life of one person in Asfandi area of Ghazni City, Himat said.
