ASADABAD (PANinfo-icon): A key Talibaninfo-icon commander, a shadow district chief, was killed during infighting in eastern Kunar province, suggesting cracks within the rebel movement, an official said on Saturday.

Qari Zakir, the Taliban chief for Narai district, was killed as a result of a fire exchange between the fighters on Friday, the town’s administrative head, Gul Zaman, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
