ISLAMABAD (PAN on Thursday made clear that it had no favourites in the Afghan presidential elections, scheduled to be held in April 2014.

Advisor to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz said that Islamabad would review its relations with Washington after the withdrawal of foreign forces from Afghanistan.

The situation in Afghanistan was a challenge but Pakistan remained committed to working sincerely for peace in that country in the interest of progress in the region, he told a seminar here.

Aziz said Pakistan was pursuing a foreign policy based on promoting trade and economic relations with the European Union, the Middle East and Russia.
